Jake Harris (born October 21, 1985 in Monroe, Washington) is a reality TV star best known for his role on Deadliest Catch. Along with his family, the hit Discovery Channel show, which has been on since 2005, features Jake’s adventures in commercial fishing in Alaska. After the tragic death of his father, Captain Phil Harris, Jake and his brother Josh now man the Cornelia Marie, the ship formerly manned by their late dad. In 2010, he was arrested for drunk driving and hit and run charges after crashing his car. On Nov. 12, 2016, Jake was brutally assaulted after leaving a casino in Washington, suffering bleeding and a cracked skull, and was rushed to the hospital.
