Drake Reveals Dual Album Covers for Nothing Was the Same
Just as he revealed his upcoming VMAs performance, last night Drake also tweet-announced an updated release date (September 24) for his upcoming album, Nothing Was the Same, and revealed a set of covers. Illustrated by artist Kadir Nelson, the dual images seem to be inspired by “Started From the Bottom” — a young Drizzy (complete with Afro pick) stares into the face of the grown-up rapper.
The cheese factor is certainly high, noted many who took to Twitter to gently rib the cover — comparing it to Brooke Hogan’s second album, The Redemption; Toys; the Michael Jackson–Eddie Murphy duet, “Whatzupwitu.” The real question here is, who’s cuter: Baby Drake or Baby Wayne?
