Ben Stiller has put his luxurious New York pad on the market for $9.6million.

The actor and his wife Christine Taylor purchased the duplex four years ago for $10million, so are likely to make a loss.

The 4000 square foot property was designed Roman and Williams and boasts cool, modern interiors.

Situated in Manhattan it has stunning views of the Hudson River from its large windows.

In fact the home sits just a stone’s throw away from the water in the Fort George area.

It has five bedrooms and five and half bathrooms, which would have provided the Stiller brood with plenty of space.

It’s likely that Ben and Christine resided in the master bedroom, which sits on the downstairs floor of the split-level apartment.

It has cherry wood walls and a matching walk-in wardrobe to boot, as well as silk carpet and a spa bathroom with mosaic tile floors.

Amongst the four other bedrooms are two beautifully decorated for the couple’s ten-year-old daughter Ella and son Quinlan, seven.

The home also has a lift, a huge living room space and a media screening room where no doubt the family enjoyed watching movies together.

There is also room for staff with a maid’s quarters and laundry room, as well as a separate service entrance.

The eat-in cook’s kitchen boasts a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Viking appliances and two dishwashers.
