Who Was Jason Defazio?
Jason Defazio was born on 12th July 1972. At the time of death, he was only 29 years old. Jason was a bond trader from the Mariners Harbor neighbourhood of Staten Island, New York. He moved to the Sunnyside area of Queens in 1999 and also worked at Cantor Fitzgerald, a New York City-based financial firm.
Defazio was also a married man. According to reports, he married 3 months to high school lover named Michele Moss three months before his death. They first met at Curtis High School when they were students and had been in touch till they married. In school, Jason played in the school’s football team and Michele was a cheerleader.
What Happened to Jason Defazio in September 2011?
As already revealed, Jason worked at Cantor Fitzgerald, a New York City-based financial firm. During the attack, Jason was on the floor where the first plane hit. The news about his demise was sent to her family by a co-worker. In addition to his wife, Michele, and his mother, Roseann, DeFazio is survived by his father, James, and his brother, Michael. He had no child at the time of death.
According to reports, the number of people who died from the attack was 2,996. Another 25,000 people were injured during the tragedy.
Talking about the tragedy, Jason’s wife revealed the following: “He loved children, he wanted to have kids. He was 29, but he was like a kid. “He woke up every Saturday morning to watch cartoons. I always used to laugh at him. “He was my life. We were only married for three months, but we were like soul mates. “We were just starting our life together.”
